What is a zip?

A zip file is a file or collection of files compressed into one easy to download file. The application creates one file and compresses it so it's not as big as the original.

To expand a zip archive, you'll need an expander application. We recommend Stuffit®

You can download it free here...
Macintosh - http://my.smithmicro.com/mac/stuffitexpander
Windows - - http://my.smithmicro.com/win/stuffitexpander

Links open a new window.

After you have installed Stuffit on your computer, simply double click on the download archive (filename.zip)
Stuffit will open and ask you where you want it to be placed. We recommend navagating to your desk top so you can easily find it.
The next time you download a zip, Stuffit will automatically open.

ALSO: Many windows computers have WinZip already installed which will open a zip archive.
If using WinZip, after you have double clicked on the .zip to expand it remember to click 'Extract' .

To make ZIP archives we recommend...

For Mac ZipIt Or search Google

For Windows WinZip Or search Google

Or you can search TuCows.com for FREE software.

DO NOT USE STUFFIT.COM THEY DO NOT OFFER THE FREE DOWNLOAD.
